Jonathan Bailey has been linked to the lead role in the upcoming Jurassic World film from Universal and Amblin Entertainment. Bailey is the latest big name linked to the film, which is written by David Koepp and directed by Gareth Edwards (The Creator, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Godzilla). Scarlett Johansson, 39, 'is also in talks' to appear in the Jurassic World film, insiders told Deadline, while sources told The Hollywood Reporter the Oscar-nominated actress 'is already on the call sheet for the feature.' Bailey won a Critics Choice Award earlier this year for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for playing role of Tim Laughlin on Showtime's Fellow Travelers. Bailey appears in Wicked with Goldblum, as well as Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh. Universal exes were 'high on [Bailey's] performance' in the musical, a prequel to the Wizard of Oz, sources told Deadline.
